What Disease Does Tom Selleck Have? Inside His Rumored Health Issues
Tom Selleck, best known for Magnum P.I., Friends, and Blue Bloods, has enjoyed a Hollywood career spanning over 50 years. In recent years, his health has sparked public speculation. In 2023, Radar claimed Selleck was battling arthritis while filming Blue Bloods, though he denied the rumors and has never confirmed any serious illness.
Selleck has, however, spoken about back issues from years of performing his own stunts, telling GQ in 2014 that the repetitive stop-and-start work took a toll on him. Despite reports in 2024 suggesting he underwent double knee surgery and was receiving physical therapy, nothing has been officially confirmed.
While arthritis rumors persist, Selleck continues to stay active and even told Parade in late 2024 that he hopes to work with Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan again, saying, “A good Western’s always on my list. I miss that; I want to sit on a horse again.”
