Kevin Costner’s ex confirms romance with family friend as actor gets teary during ‘Horizon’ Cannes premiere

Kevin Costner’s ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, has confirmed her relationship with family friend Joshua Connor. The couple was seen together in Santa Barbara, marking their first public appearance since Baumgartner’s divorce from Costner in February. Connor’s name surfaced during the custody payment hearing last year, where Baumgartner explained a $20,000 loan from him and confirmed their long-term friendship.

Meanwhile, Costner received a nearly 10-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival for his western epic, “Horizon: An American Saga.” Emotional during his speech, Costner expressed gratitude to the audience and his collaborators. The first part of “Horizon” premieres on June 28, followed by the second part on August 16. Costner directed and co-wrote the series, which also features his son Hayes in his acting debut.
